We will be spending the two days before Thanksgiving break working on some engineering. If you have technic LEGO at home, you can do this project. ![]()

This quiz is open note. Also, don't forget to use the labs we have done this week and feel free to explore the My Solar System simulation again. ![]()
Today, we used fabric gravity models to explore the idea of how different masses affect the fabric of space. If you weren't here for the lab, find a shirt or something with spandex in it and stretch it over a large bowl. Make sure it isn't too tight. Put different spheres in the middle to see how much it deforms the fabric. Use the worksheet to help you explore density. ![]()
Today we explore the ideas of mass vs. weight. Make sure to follow the instructions carefully on the handout. ![]()
If an object needs velocity to orbit, where did all of that movement come from in the first place? Make sure to finish the notes and My Solar System simulation packet. See google classroom for the assignments.
This scaling assignment is due Monday 11/13. Please make sure to use detail and evidence in your answers. ![]()
This is due Tuesday 11/7. Please see the link to the textbook under the resources tab to get handout 91.1 Talking Drawing 3 Scaling Distances in Space. ![]()
