DUE 2/7 We are exploring whether or not the distance between the Earth and the sun affects the seasons. We are graphing both the distance between the earth and the sun and the temperature throughout the year. Look at the graph carefully before starting the analysis questions. It may look like there is a connection, but maybe there isn't. DUE 2/7
Tomorrow (Thursday) we will have our final test on the moon and tides. Please use the attached study guide as a resource. The test is closed note and book.
Today we started our tide models. We will work on these a little on Monday as well.
We started looking at the monthly cycle of tides. This is an inquiry project that should challenge you find patterns and discover which causes the highest tides of the month: (1) the distance between the Earth and the Moon or (2) the phase (position) of the moon. Due Monday 1/22
